La femme E. The ‘E’ stands for Erotique, Eurotrash and Elena.

Somewhere in the Lower East Side on a cold Monday night, my last cold night in New York City before flying back home, I met with designer, Elena V, for Tapas and wine. Our european sensibilities sparked a fast friendship, and sooner than later, we were chatting fervently about men, sex, and lingerie.

“A real woman has to be a temptress,” says Elena, when I ask her about the men in her life – one who flew halfway across the world in his private speedjet just to bring her a bag of Bulgari jewels while she lunched with a friend. She kept the jewels and sent him home – he was hooked. Sounds like the making of a best-selling “how-to” book for dating. So we thought, why not turn it into a blog?

Fashion is asexual insofar as it is inexpensive. And what’s sexier than fashionable lingerie? Drooling over the La Perla window displays later that night in the meatpacking district we decided to share dating stories, tips and secrets with fashionable women – whether you’re in New York, Paris, Toronto or a private speedjet ride away.

For the occasion, Elena has designed an exclusive capsule collection in Italian silk: tops with matching briefs, and lingerie travel bag. La femme E intimate sets will accompany our blog posts and you can purchase them directly online. They’ll also be available to purchase at Elena V’s fashion show during NYFW.

La femme E project launches during New York Fashion Week at Elena V’s FW2013-2014 show on Friday, Feb 8th, at the Ukrainian Museum (222 East 6 St, New York NY 10003).

Most of you know Canadian designer, Christopher Bates, as a Mercedes-Benz StartUp finalist from last season’s World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto. His tongue-in-cheek, lipstick-on-your-collar, dress shirt is a calling card for his Bond-inspired menswear. He serves up fashion shaken, not stirred. But something you may not know about Mr. Bates – he’s eurotrash. We immediately hit it off.

I’ve been deliberating on this one for a while. But, a pic of her with her little motorino helmet and I was sold. Cara Delevingne, Miss, you are Eurotrash. Not to mention that her and her sister, Poppy, are London socialites-cum-models. Or the other way around? Who’s counting.

Cara is the official face of Burberry and has walked countless runways with her moves like Jagger. My hesitation was her rocker girl aesthetic, it was a bit too hard for the playful Eurotrash who prefers Pucci over Vivienne Westwood; who drinks espresso instead of high tea. And who most certainly doesn’t photograph looking like she forgot to shower and wash her hair. But there are times when Cara is sweet, like on the DSquared2 runway, looking as though she’s a modern day Monica Vitti. Here are some of my favourite shots of the tiny little Brit.

Another year gone, in the dust. However you spent ringing in the new year, this is a guide on how you should spend a more Eurotrash 2013:
