Thanks to everyone who came out to the Shoppalu X Miracle Thieves event last week. I know some of you got some really great vintage finds, despite having to strip down to your knickers in the stockroom, ahem, Katherine and Rhena! My friends are definitely resourceful when it comes to a pair of striped shorts at 75% off.

My favourite part of the night was when I first got there and spotted a leather vest with embellishments and beadwork that would make any discerning eye look twice. $29.00. Please and thank you! It’s one of those fab finds you can’t ever won’t ever believe it’s not butter. But it was, butter. Or in my case, leather. And now it hangs sweetly in my closet.

As the night progressed, shopping envy ensued. You know, when you see other people buying what ostensibly looks like the necklace of their dreams or the coat of a lifetime, and you just want to feel the same happy feeling they’re experiencing? Well, that happened. So, I added a Tiger of Sweden “Butch” wool hat. I must admit it’s mens but whatever, s’long as my boyfriend doesn’t steal it from me… What do I care!

Well Breaking Amish is on now and taking most of my attention. If you see anything you like in the photographs head over to Shoppalu.com and clickity click click. PS. I won’t be mad if you buy the same hat as me.
