Getting ready to DJ with the Secret Models crew is almost as fun as DJing with the Secret Models crew. If I wanna try a wacky hairstyle, I can. If I wanna wear hot pink lipstick, I can. If I wan a show some skin, I CAN! Performance erases all inhibitions. I guess that’s why I’ve always been attracted to dance shows, plays, DJ stints, even academic colloquiums. Sign me up! Meet me on the street and I’m the shiest girl in town. Throw me on stage and boom – I’m Gaga.

Thanks to Lauren Luna, (her paintings are breathtaking fyi) I now know how to do the popular fishtail braid. It’s so simple, guys. And yet it looks so friggin complicated. I’m gonna braid Lula’s hair. The fishtail will look spectacular with her pink tips.

So I did the fishtail braid last night and added NARS Schnapps fuchsia pink lipstick for good measure. Put a feather in my ear, yankee doodle dandy, and I was ready to DJ the night away.

One more thing though, I forgot to show you all the beautiful earrings I received from Shoppalu. I’m such a loser sometimes! I hadn’t seen them in the package because they were wrapped up so nicely in a little piece of tissue paper…. THANKFULLY, the scatterbrain in me didn’t throw them out! They are simply gorgeous with Purple, Green and Blue ribbon design. Perfect for the patchwork trend this fall!

I absolutely love Shoppalu and am so honoured to work with them. They just got a whole bunch of new merchandise both vintage and new. I love their vintage handbags and bracelets!
