This past Saturday I got to experience a day in the life of Chiara Ferragni, well, maybe the early days of her Blonde Salad fame. Some of my close friends tell me that I should strive to be the Canadian version of her, which, in my opinion, could  only happen if I had longer legs, a tech-savy and rich(ie) boyfriend and more than one Chanel bag in my closet.  Sigh. In the meantime, I’m happy with my stumpy legs, being single and my one, limited edition 2.55 Chanel re-issue.

Perhaps like the Blonde Salad, I’ve got some friends in the fashion industry who would, on a whim, book off a Saturday to play with a few Greta Constantine pieces. So there we were, Brendan, Caitlin, and I – minus the fans, make-up artists and mood music (what I assume are photo shoot staples) – tip-toeing around our undisclosed location (because we weren’t exactly allowed to be there) pretending to be some Canadian version of an uber-popular Italian blog.

A special thanks goes to Brendan and Caitlin for going along with it on a Saturday; Salem for letting us borrow all the clothes, shoes and accessories from REmix Clothing; and to the folks over at Greta Constantine for helping me pick out these amazing pieces.

I hope you all enjoy the photos!

(stay tuned for part two tomorrow)
